Anchor Hocking Milk Glass

These vintage milk glass teacups were produced for just two years - between 1958 & 1960! The handpainted pattern is called Fluerette and they're in such good condition I almost didn't let them go.

Anchor Hocking Corps started producing low cost affordable housewares for everyday use in 1942 under the brand name Fire King - the pieces are made of low-expansion borosilicate glass aka Milk Glass - which is what makes it so temperature resistant - aka "OVENPROOF" as you see stamped on the bottom of the mug.

Fire King ceased production 50 years ago, in 1972.

Y'all know I love all kinds of Anchor Hocking pieces, but these teacups are just to cute to not highlight!
