The Lovebound Library: A charming romance bookstore celebrating love in all its forms, with a curated selection for every hopeless (or hopeful) romantic. Opened in February 2024 as Utah's first romance-only bookstore, Lovebound Library offers a safe and empowering space for readers to explore the romance genre. They feature bookish merchandise and gifts from vendors across the country, with 95% being women or queer-owned small businesses, and prioritize sourcing from local small businesses when possible.
The Legendarium: A trans-owned and operated independent bookstore and RPG café, The Legendarium specializes in science fiction, fantasy, and horror literature. The Chubby Baker: An Asian American dessert shop renowned for its pillowy soft, not-too-sweet filled donuts with flavors like ube and guava. Founded by Ying Nance, who began baking donuts in her mother-in-law's kitchen, Chubby Baker has expanded to three Utah locations: Salt Lake City, Orem, and Sandy.
